Η νεαρή τραγουδίστρια/τραγουδοποιός και βραβευμένη με βραβείο Emmy ηθοποιός, Dove Cameron, κυκλοφορεί το πολυαναμενόμενο πρώτο μέρος του debut album της με τίτλο, ‘Alchemical: Volume 1’ μέσω της Panik Records/Sony Music. H δισκογραφική δουλειά αναδεικνύει την δυναμική της Dove ως καλλιτέχνης και φυσικά την δυνατότητα της να μεταμορφώνεται και να δημιουργεί μουσική που ενδυναμώνει, εμπνέει και θεραπεύει.
Σχετικά με το project, η Dove είπε: “Το ‘Alchemical: Volume 1’ λειτουργεί ως αναφορά των προσωπικών μου εμπειριών γύρω από τον έρωτα, το σεξ, την απώλεια, το τραύμα και το σκοτάδι, ώσπου τελικά φτάνουμε στο φως και όλα γίνονται καλύτερα. Ελπίζω να συσχετιστείτε με τα τραγούδια και μέσω αυτών να συναντηθούμε σε όλες αυτές τις στιγμές”.
Ανάμεσα στα τραγούδια βρίσκουμε τα “Lethal Woman”, “Breakfast” και φυσικά την τεράστια επιτυχία, “Boyfriend”, που έφτασε στο #2 του Billboard U.S. Top 40 Pop Chart, στο Top 20 του Hot 100 και έχει γίνει πλατινένιο, ενώ το επίσημο video έχει ξεπεράσει τις 67 εκατομμύρια προβολές στο YouTube.
