Ήταν 14 Δεκεμβρίου 1999 στο Torrance της California, όταν Emmy Meli γεννήθηκε. Η 22χρονη Αμερικανίδα ασχολήθηκε από νωρίς με τις τέχνες και έτσι της δημιουργήθηκε ένα πάθος να γράφει μουσική και στίχους.

Ο πατέρας της, την μύησε στα μουσικά του ακούσματα, κάτι που την έκανε λάτρη της μουσικής της Amy Winehouse και της Duffy μεταξύ άλλων. Η ίδια περιγράφει τη φωνή της smooth, αλλά με RnB επιρροές. Με αυτή τη φωνή ελπίζει να ξυπνήσει τα συναισθήματα των ανθρώπων ώστε να εκφράζονται ελεύθερα και να ξεχάσουν τα προβλήματα τους για λίγο.

Το πρόσφατο single της “I AM WOMAN” μιλάει για την προσπάθειά της να επικοινωνήσει με τους ανθρώπους γύρω της. Από τη στιγμή που το μοιράστηκε στο προσωπικό της λογαριασμό στο Tik Tok, το τραγούδι έγινε viral και μέχρι σήμερα έχει ξεπεράσει ήδη τις 22 εκατομμύρια προβολές στην επιτυχημένη πλατφόρμα και τα 32 εκατομμύρια streams στο Spotify και αναμένεται να ανέβει και πιο ψηλά. Το μόνο σίγουρο είναι ότι η εταιρία της, Arista, βρήκε ένα μεγάλο ανερχόμενο αστέρι που θα λάμψει το 2022.
