Everyone You Know – She Don’t Dance | Video Clip

Μετά την κυκλοφορία του δυναμικού τους single “The Drive”, το αινιγματικό duo Everyone You Know επιστρέφει με την καινούρια του κυκλοφορία “She Don’t Dance”.

Μέσα από το δεύτερο EP τους “Look After Your Pennies”, το τραγούδι είναι μία ακόμα δυνατή δόση του κόσμου που προσπαθούν να διατυπώσουν μέσα από τις αφηγήσεις τους. Τα tracks τους εκφράζουν μία αποπροσανατολιστική εγκατάλειψη και επικρίνουν τον κόσμο γύρω τους. Η μουσική τους περιγράφει τις δοκιμές και δοκιμασίες των νέων που πρέπει να αντιμετωπίσουν στην καθημερινότητά τους.

Μετά την κυκλοφορίας του πρώτου τους EP το 2018, τα αδέρφια Rhys και Harvey έχουν καταφέρει να δημιουργήσουν το δικό τους χαρακτηριστικό ήχο. Ένας πλούσιος συνδυασμός punk και rave μουσικής, με Guitar riffs και hip-hop στοιχεία συνδυασμένα με δυνατά beats και ευαίσθητη αφήγηση.

Μιλώντας για το καινούριο τους track και video η μπάντα είπε: « Για το βίντεο του “She Don’t Dance” θέλαμε να κάνουμε κάτι πολύ πιο βαθύ από τον τίτλο του τραγουδιού. Η λέξη “dance (χορός)” θα μπορούσε να αντιπροσωπεύει το οτιδήποτε αλλά στην δικιά μας περίπτωση διαλέξαμε η συγκεκριμένη λέξη να είναι μία μεταφορά μίας νεαρής μητέρας σε μία καταχρηστική σχέση και οι δυσκολίες που αντιμετωπίζουν οι νεαροί γονείς. Νιώσαμε πως ήταν σημαντικό με αυτό το βίντεο να ευαισθητοποιήσουμε το κοινό μας γύρω από αυτό το ευαίσθητο και σημαντικό θέμα που δεν συζητιέται όσο συχνά θα έπρεπε και δεν αντιμετωπίζεται με την σοβαρότητα που του αρμόζει».

Το “She Don’t Dance” είναι ένα αντιπροσωπευτικό δείγμα του EP “Look After Your Pennies”, το οποίο είναι μια ιεροτελεστία για όλους τους νέους και αγγίζει θέματα όπως η απογοήτευση, η φιλία, η οικογένεια, οι προκλήσεις αλλά και η ελπίδα, η ευτυχία και η αποφασιστικότητα για τα όνειρα. Γεμάτοι φωτιά και συναισθήματα οι Everyone You Know είναι έτοιμοι να κάνουν το “She Don’t Dance” το soundtrack της εποχής.
