Αμέσως μετά την πολυαναμενόμενη επιστροφή της με το “Lento” τον προηγούμενο μήνα, η Lauren Jauregui κυκλοφορεί ακόμα ένα ακαταμάχητο νέο single και music video.
Το track, το οποίο συνυπογράφει η ίδια, είναι αφιερωμένο στην αγάπη για τον εαυτό μας και την προστασία. “Some people just ain’t in touch. They haven’t really done much work and only ever see the worst. Naturally inclined to love, but when the love ain’t flowing back, I pull away and reassess. Gotta protect me.” είναι μερικοί από τους δυναμικούς στίχους που τραγουδάει η καλλιτέχνιδα.
Το τραγούδι με τίτλο “50ft.” συνοδεύει ένα βίντεο κλιπ, το οποίο γυρίστηκε τον Δεκέμβριο στο οικογενειακό της σπίτι στο Miami και στο οποίο συμμετέχουν διάφορα μέλη της οικογένειας της Lauren, καθώς και στενοί της φίλοι. Η σκηνοθεσία έγινε από την ίδια και την Inyegumena Nosegbe και είναι μία μικρή υπενθύμιση ενός πιο απλού καιρού ενός όχι και τόσο μακρινού παρελθόντος. Αναμφισβήτητα, το βίντεο είναι ένα όμορφο αφιέρωμα σε ένα προνόμιο που πολλοί είχαμε ξεχάσει πως υπάρχει μέχρι που μας το πήραν.
