Δεν έχει περάσει ένα 10ήμερο από τότε που η Sara Bareilles κυκλοφόρησε το video clip του τραγουδιού της, “I Choose You”, και άμεσα δόθηκε στη δημοσιότητα και η επιλογή της για το τρίτο κατά σειρά single της.
Πρόκειται για το “Chasing The Sun”, ένα τραγούδι το οποίο είχε ξεχωρίσει εξ αρχής από το τελευταίο -υποψήφιο για Grammy- album της, “The Blessed Unrest”. Οι κριτικοί σχολίασαν θετικά την επιλογή αυτού του τραγουδιού ως single, διότι το χαρακτήρισαν ως μία φρέσκια και αισιόδοξη μπαλάντα, που αν και θυμίζει λίγο το hit single της, “Brave”, εντούτοις προκαλεί άλλα συναισθήματα.
Το “Chasing The Sun” έρχεται ως το τρίτο κατά σειρά single της Sara Bareilles από το τελευταίο studio album της, με τίτλο “The Blessed Unrest”, το οποίο κυκλοφόρησε τον Ιούλιο του 2013 μέσω της Epic Records. Η pop μπαλάντα έχει γραφτεί από την ίδια την Bareilles σε συνεργασία με τον Jack Antonoff, ενώ την παραγωγή έκανε ο Mark Endert. Το “Chasing The Sun” θα κυκλοφορήσει επίσημα στις 16 Ιουνίου μέσω του βρετανικού iTunes, ενώ στις 2 Ιουνίου θα ξεκινήσει το “Little Black Dress Tour” της στο Islington Assembly Hall.
