“Η δημιουργία του “Coconut Water” ήταν πολύ ιδιαίτερη. Στην αρχή είχαμε ένα τραγούδι με παρόμοιες συγχορδίες. Το track είχε ένα 80’s vibe αλλά είχαμε κολλήσει και δεν ξέραμε πως να το συνεχίσουμε. Κάτι του έλειπε. Το ξεχάσαμε για λίγο καιρό μέχρι που ακούσαμε το θρυλικό “True” των Spandau Ballet. Αυτό μας έδωσε κατευθείαν την ιδέα να χρησιμοποιήσουμε το κλασσικό “Ah Ah Aaaah” sample και τα τελειώσουμε το τραγούδι,” εξηγούν οι We Are Gold.

“Όταν οι We Are Gold επικοινώνησαν μαζί μου για να με ρωτήσουν αν θα ήθελα να συμμετάσχω στο νέο τους τραγούδι που θα περιλάμβανε ένα sample του “True” των Spandau Ballet, πραγματικά απάντησα χωρίς καν να το σκεφτώ. Πάντα λάτρευα το original track, οπότε ήταν καταπληκτικό ότι μου δόθηκε η ευκαιρία να δημιουργήσω ένα καλοκαιρινό τραγούδι εμπνευσμένο από αυτό,” είπε ο Tomi.
